1) Alex is a light knight. Which means he wears less armor than a heavy one. So he has no armor on his thighs and upper arms.
2) He doesn't have any "friends" due to his fucking terrible personality. There is a knight who tends to tease him and tries to befriend him, but to no avail. She still tries mostly out of curiosity,but also because she feels a bit bad for Alex.

1) Dalton is a dragon mage, the only kind of mage who has the power over 3 different elements at the same time (fire,ice,and electric), but he specialises in ice magic, and pretty much sucks in the electricity department.
